The artists who perform at the Global Carnival each year are billeted in the town and surrounding valleys, adding another wonderful dimension to community involvement and ownership of the festival.
Frequently, great friendships are forged and as well as adding a personal touch to everyone’s experience, Bellingen displays what a unique and caring community it is.
Tickets are exchanged on the following basis: billeting three artists ( i.e. 3 people) for three nights = one adult weekend pass (without camping) or equivalent.
We ask that artists are able to enjoy reasonable privacy if they desire and also that they are not placed on mattresses on floors unless we are advised otherwise.
Preferably we place no more than 2 artists per room but this is also something that can be discussed.
We do not expect host families to provide meals though we have no objections if this is offered on occasions! However, hosts are asked to provide access to tea/coffee making facilities.
