The Bellingen area offers a selection of accommodation options, from luxury bed & breakfasts to motels and backpacker accommodation.

Carnival Camping
The site is nice and flat, wrapping around the showground and while there are no powered sites, there are hot showers as well as additional toilets etc.
There is a special area designated for pop-ups, caravans and any other vehicular style camping arrangements and campers are able to park their vehicles on-site.
Camping Passes
You can only purchase camping for the days you are attending the Carnival.
If purchasing pre-paid weekend passes, camping is cheaper – $30 for the whole Carnival. (Children 12 and under are free).
All other camping can be purchased at the Campground Gate 2 at $15 per night or $45 for the whole weekend (three nights minimum on Friday, two nights minimum on Saturday).
Camping tickets can only be purchased at the Campground Gate 2 – if you have pre-purchased your camping as a part of a season pass, you MUST come to the Campground Gate 2 to get your Carnival AND Camping wristbands.
Each person must have their own Camping ticket; tickets will not be sold per campsite, only per person.

The Carnival Campground Gate 2 open at 8am on Friday 30th Sept.
Campground Policies & Guidelines
- In order to be in the campgrounds you must have a valid camping wristband.
- Youth must camp with the accompanying parent/guardian whose ticket they are on.
- Please respect others, their property and the Showgrounds at large. “Dickhead” (i.e loud or drunk) behaviour will not be tolerated anywhere within the Carnival.
- The showground is home to horses and other events throughout the year. Plastic, sharp objects, cans and cigarette butts pose dangers to them so please dispose of them carefully.
- From 10pm onwards, noise in all camping areas must be kept to a minimum. Carnival venues operate until midnight
- Do not light camp fires. The carnival takes place during a fire-ban
- The Carnival has a licensed Bar. Alcohol is prohibited in all other areas of the Carnival including the camp-grounds
- Do not bring: animals of any description; Glass; BYO alcohol; Illegal substances or fireworks
- Please do not leave valuables unattended in tents.
- Any breach of the above Terms of Entry will result in refusal of entry with no exceptions. Absolutely no ticket refunds will be given.
- Security is authorized to remove the wristband and evict anyone, youth or adult who is causing a nuisance and they will be banned from future Carnivals.
