The town - Enjoying a sub-tropical climate, Bellingen is located half an hour inland from Coffs Harbour on the NSW Mid North Coast. While here, take the time to visit the World Heritage rainforests of Dorrigo, the glorious beaches of Urunga & Mylestom & the many places of historic interest in the region Transport to the festival - By road, Bellingen is 13kms west of the Pacific Hwy, halfway between Sydney & Brisbane. Book trains & coaches to Urunga. Book flights to Coffs Harbour. Ring Bellingen Tourist Information Centre for information. Free parking - On site free parking. Priority will be given to weekend campers with day visitors encouraged to utilize parking facilities within the town. In addition to Coopers beers and Cassegrain winery, Bamboo Direct of Coffs Harbour are also supporting this years Carnival by providing bamboo fencing for our beer garden, creating an attractive look by day and an exotic look by night with bamboo oil lamps.
Voluntarily manned by a friendly crew from our local Bellingen Football Club, the Star Bar will present a quality program of diverse entertainment to accompany the drink of your choice. All money raised goes to support the club and the festival. OUR MARKET BAZAAR
This year, Handybin Waste Services Pty Ltd will be managing our recycling, green material and rubbish. Handybin is a local, Australian-owned company that has extensive experience in handling waste in an environmentally effective way and is the largest provider of waste services on the North Coast. They operate a state-of the-art recycling facility at the Coffs Coast Resource Recovery Park and are providing colour coded bins to the festival for easy identification of waste disposal and also signage as additional assistance. Taking care of our rubbish in a responsible manner is one of the ways we all have of conserving the planet’s valuable resources. The festival is committed to this ethos so please do your very best to ‘DO THE RIGHT THING! Handybin has the following collection services available:

NO BYO – Security may check bags. KOMBU Wholefoods – KOMBU is offering a 5% discount all weekend to all Global Carnivalers! Anyone wearing a Global wristband qualifies but they must be wearing it. NO PETS – leave your furry friends at home.
