How can I buy tickets to the Bellingen Global Carnival?
Online
You can purchase tickets online at www.globalcarnival.com
Online ticket purchases can be made with credit card, debit card, or PayPal.
If you intend to use PayPal for online ticket purchases, you will need to set up a PayPal account prior to commencing the purchasing process.
Over the phone
You can purchase tickets over the phone by calling the Oztix ticket purchasing line 1300 762 545. If you are buying tickets over the phone you can pay by credit card or debit card.
At an Oztix Ticket Outlet
Click here for a list of Oztix retail ticket outlets. There are retail outlets all around the country. You will be able to pay for your tickets across the counter by using credit/debit card, cash or EFTPOS.
Please note – a booking fee of $6.00 per ticket applies to each ticket bought at a retail outlet. So buying online is much cheaper!
At the Gate
You can purchase entry to the Carnival at our Gates during the Carnival. The Main Gate for Carnival entry opens at 3:00pm on Friday September 30. The Camping Gate opens for camping ticket purchases at 8:00am Friday September 30.
You will be able to pay for your tickets using credit/debit card, cash or EFTPOS
How does my PDF ticket work?
When you buy your ticket online, you will be sent a PDF ticket via email. You will need to print this PDF ticket and bring it to the Carnival Gate in order for it to be scanned and you to receive your Carnival wristband.
You can print your ticket on any standard laser or bubble-jet printer – it doesn’t need to be in colour. Photocopies cannot be scanned by our system so please make sure it is a printed copy.
If you are unable to print your ticket or do not receive your ticket please bring photo ID and the credit card used to purchase the ticket to the Carnival Gate. We can then look up your booking from your details.

Gate Opening Times
Campground Gate 2 opens at 8AM Friday September 30. There will be no entry prior to this time.
Main Gate 1 opens for wristband exchange and entry to the Carnival site at 3PM Friday September 30, with the events beginning at 6:30PM.
Companion Passes
We provide free Carnival access to the carers of people with disabilities provided they carry a current and accredited Companion card. Please contact tickets@globalcarnival.com for how to organise this.
Camping Passes
You can only purchase camping for the days you are attending the Carnival.
If purchasing pre-paid weekend passes, camping is cheaper – $30 for the whole Carnival. (Children 12 and under are free).
All other camping can be purchased at the Campground Gate 2 at $15 per night or $45 for the whole weekend (three nights minimum on Friday, two nights minimum on Saturday).
Campground Gate 2 opens at 8AM Friday September 30.
Camping tickets can only be purchased at the Campground Gate 2 – if you have pre-purchased your camping as a part of a season pass, you MUST come to the Campground Gate 2 to get your Carnival AND Camping wristbands.
Each person must have their own Camping ticket; tickets will not be sold per campsite, only per person.
Wristbands
When you 1st arrive at the Carnival gates you will be issued with a wristband in exchange for your Carnival ticket and also for camping.
Your wristband(s) will be closely checked each time you re-enter the Carnival site and security will also maintain spot checks for camping wristbands. People found without wristbands will be removed from the camp-grounds and/or Carnival site. The bands we use are extremely strong and any wristbands which has been tampered with or broken is invalid. (We’ve heard every story you can think of!)
Gatecrashers
We do not tolerate anyone entering the Carnival without a valid ticket.
This is trespass which can actually have consequences in law. Anyone undertaking or assisting in this activity will be refused entry, evicted and banned from future Carnivals.
PLEASE SHOW SOME RESPECT TO THE CARNIVAL AND THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE WORKED HARD TO PRESENT IT. DO NOT GATE-CRASH.
