Terms & Conditions of Ticket Purchase

  1. All Prices quoted are in Australian Dollars and include GST.
  2. Online sales will cease when the allocation of tickets is sold or at a time otherwise specified.
  3. When purchasing tickets, the email account you nominate will receive information from us relating to the event you have purchased tickets for and other events we produce. You may opt out of this mailing list at any time by following the ‘unsubscribe’ directions.
  4. It is illegal to re-sell tickets for profit or gain and any person or company caught attempting to do so may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
  5. Any person caught re-selling their ticket may not be admitted to the venue or may be removed from the venue and their tickets deemed void.
  6. Tickets are not transferable: However, in grave situations refunds may be given at the discretion of the Promoter. Documentary proof of mitigating circumstances will be required.
  7. We reserve the right not to sell tickets to any person, agent or company.
  8. Any details provided may be checked for their validity to prevent fraud. If we uncover fraud we may prosecute to the full extent of the law.
  9. Tickets will be: Sent as a PDF barcode ticket via email if purchased on-line OR ‘Hard tickets’ if bought at a store. For a list Oztix retail ticket outlets please visit www.oztix.com.au
  10. Note: Your Credit Card statement will itemise a purchase as a charge from ‘Global Carnivals Australia’.
  11. Children 12 & under are free for Carnival entry and camping.
  12. Youth passes (13-17) can only be purchased with an adult pass. For more information please read our on www.globalcarnival.com/tickets/youth-policy
  13. A valid ticket will be exchanged for a wristband, fitted at the Carnival gate and must be worn at all times. Our wristbands are very tuff fabrik-bands with secure-lock fasteners! They are your responsibility to take care of. Damaged wristbands (even if accidental) are invalid and you will not be able to re-gain access to the site.

Refund Policy

Refund information for any event will be posted in the News section of www.globalcarnival.com when applicable.

  1. Rescheduled event. The Presenter reserves the right to alter the line up, date, time and/or venue. If the event is rescheduled then your ticket to the advertised event will remain valid. If you cannot attend a rescheduled event and you contact us in a timely manner, providing the original ticket(s) + proof of purchase, we will refund to You the ticket price inclusive of booking fees but exclusive of delivery or mail fees and any processing surcharge.
  2. Cancellation. If the event is cancelled because of an act of war or terrorism or the forces of nature or by any event outside of the control of the Presenter then refunds shall be at the Presenters absolute discretion.
  3. If the event is partially cancelled because of an act of war or terrorism or the forces of nature or by any event outside of the control of the Presenter then refunds shall be at the Presenters absolute discretion.
  4. If the event is cancelled for any other reason, we will refund to you the ticket price inclusive of booking fees but exclusive of delivery or mail fees and or Processing Surcharge, provided the request by you is made in a timely manner and the original ticket(s) and proof of purchase are presented. Please contact us to request a refund.
  5. No Show / Failure to collect tickets / Delivery fulfillment. We fulfill our commitment to you for the sale of tickets by emailing the ticket to you. If for any reason you do not collect all or part of Your ticket(s) we are unable to refund you.
  6. We do not refund, exchange or substitute tickets after purchase nor do we replace tickets that may have been stolen lost or destroyed, except as otherwise provided for herein. Please treat your tickets like cash.

The Presenter reserves the right to alter the date, the venue and the entertainment and activities as advertised without prior notice.

Conditions of Entry

  1. All ticket holders may be required to produce valid proof of age identification when arriving at the Carnival Entry Gate
  2. Youth(13 to 17) can only attend the Carnival with a responsible parent/guardian who must be 25yrs or older. Please refer to our Youth Policy.
  3. A parent/guardian must provide their relevant carnival contact details with the ticket purchase and be contactable by mobile phone at the carnival.
  4. Youth must camp with the accompanying parent/guardian
  5. Please respect others, their property and the Show grounds at large. “Dickhead” (i.e loud or drunk) behaviour is not acceptable anywhere within the Carnival.
  6. From 10pm onwards, noise in all camping areas must be kept to a minimum. Carnival venues operate until midnight
  7. Do not light camp fires.  The carnival takes place during a fire-ban
  8. Do not bring: animals of any description; Glass; BYO alcohol; Illegal substances or fireworks
  9. The Carnival has a licensed Bar. Alcohol is prohibited in all other areas of the Carnival including the camp-grounds
  10. Entering the Carnival or camp-grounds without a valid ticket is not allowed. Anyone undertaking or assisting in this activity will be refused entry, removed and banned from future Carnivals.
  11. Security is authorized to remove the wristband and remove anyone, youth or adult who is causing a nuisance and they will be banned from future Carnivals.
  12. Any breach of the above Terms of Entry will result in refusal of entry with no exceptions. Absolutely no ticket refunds will be given.

Youth Policy

Security will strictly adhere to the following so please familiarize yourself with the details.

  1. Youth(13 to 17) can only attend the Carnival with a responsible parent/guardian who must be 25yrs or older. There is a limit of 2 youth per adult. eg: a single guardian may purchase a maximum of two youth tickets. If a third youth ticket is required, another accompanying adult/guardian must be present.
  2. We do not consider young adult friends as parents/guardians so unless the accompanying adult falls into the above category, the young person will be unable to enter.
  3. A parent/guardian must be contactable by mobile phone at the Carnival.
  4. Youth must camp with the accompanying parent/guardian
  5. As the purchaser of a parent/guardian ticket you must:
    • Provide your relevant festival contact details with the ticket purchase.
    • Agree to our terms and conditions of entry – see our Terms and Conditions page
    • Advise any associated ticket holder of the consequences of any breaches of these terms and conditions prior to arrival at the event.

Youth Policy Conditions of Entry

  1. The ID of both the young person and the accompanying parent/guardian will be checked at our Gates, whether they are entering with pre-paid tickets or purchasing tickets.
  2. All ticket holders are required to produce valid proof of age identification when arriving at the Carnival Entry Gate.
  3. All parent/guardian ticket and youth ticket holders within a group must arrive at the Carnival Entry Gate together.
  4. Security is authorized to remove the wristband and remove anyone, youth or adult who is causing a nuisance to the Carnival or Carnival goers.
  5. As minors cannot be turned on to the streets by themselves, everyone carries a responsibility to each other. If a youth is removed for unacceptable conduct, the parent/guardian will also be asked to leave along with any other youth who entered with that guardian.
  6. Any breach of the above Terms of Entry will result in refusal of entry with no exceptions. Absolutely no ticket refunds will be given.
